3D Printing

Our MakerBot Replicator+ 3D printer can be used to print 3D objects with PLA filament. PLA (polylactic acid) is made from renewable resources. Some of the raw materials used to produce PLA are corn starch, tapioca roots, or sugarcane. It has comparable properties to other 3D printing plastics whilst being a less impactful material.

We can print from existing design files in STL format (a CAD format suitable for 3D printing). Not sure how to create an STL design file? You may be able to find a suitable template for your print on Thingiverse.

Come in and take a look or ask for a demo.
